Visual Audit X4 Training – Scheduled Courses

The Visual Audit training day is designed to ensure that both you and your organisation get maximum return on investment with the implementation of the Visual Audit software.

Set in a classroom environment, this course will equip you with the skills needed to plan and execute a successful audit with the Visual Audit software, it will guide you through Visual Audit’s capabilities and offer advice and guidance on the best way to implement the software and audit the PCs.

You will learn how to use the software, understand the shortcuts and tips available and obtain a broad understanding of how Visual Audit can assist you with your Software and Hardware Auditing Project.

Course Overview

The Audit

• Client Needs & Audit Planning discussion
• Installation & Setup of Visual Audit X4 (if required)
• Setup of the Audit Collection Program
• Audit of a standard build PC & Import of collected audit data
• Review of the collected Hardware information
• Review of the ‘Recognised’ & ‘Unrecognised’ Software
• Managing the Product Library – how to identify new and update existing applications
• How to manage the volume of audit data

The Licenses

• Setup of the Software Licence Library
• What documentation qualifies as ‘Proof of entitlement’
• Enter Proof of Entitlement into the Licence Manager
• What is Perpetual, Non-Perpetual, OEM, FPP, eOpen?

The Reconciliation

• Review of License Reconciliation
• Reporting including FAST Certification Report (if required)

Terms

Times: 9.30am – 4.30pm - 30 minutes lunch break

Payment: £495.00 per delegate. The Course Fee must be paid in full - no later than 7 working days prior to the training date.

Cancellation : All cancellations must be made 14 days prior to the course date. If cancelled within the 14 days the full course fee must be paid.

In exceptional circumstances we would consider a re-booking of the course. SoftAsset reserves the right to alter the course content and cancel a course at any time without liability. In these circumstances, we would offer an alternative date, a credit note or full refund.
